Follow-ups<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Forces of Freedom and Change &#8211; the \u201cDemocratic Bloc\u201dFFC\/DB has announced the approval of a plan for broad contacts with the regional and international communities and numerous visits to neighboring countries, in order to present its vision for resolving the Sudanese crisis and stopping the war, as well as developing a positive role for the outside towards the Sudanese crisis based on the principles of respecting the sovereignty of state institutions and preserving the unity of the country and facilitating a comprehensive Sudanese dialogue.<br \/>\nThe spokesman for the Democratic Bloc, Jumaa Al-Wakil, said in a press statement that the bloc held an important meeting in Cairo, in which they discussed developments in the situation in Sudan, efforts to stop the war, alleviate the suffering of the victims, enhance humanitarian work, and support the popular and mass movement against the Rapid Support (RSF) violations against the nation and citizens.<br \/>\nHe stated that the meeting was held under the chairmanship of the head of the Bloc, Jaafar Al-Merghani, and in the presence of the head of the Political Liaison Committee, Minni Arko Minawi, the head of the Bloc\u2019s Legal Committee, Nabil Adeeb, and a number of Bloc leaders from the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement, the Sudanese Unionist Party, the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, and civil society.<br \/>\nThe Democratic Bloc approved a plan for broad communications with the regional and international community and numerous visits to neighboring countries to present its vision for resolving the Sudanese crisis, stopping the war, and developing a positive foreign role regarding the Sudanese crisis based on the principles of respecting the sovereignty of state institutions, preserving the unity of Sudan, and facilitating a comprehensive Sudanese dialogue.<br \/>\nIt renewed its commitment to supporting state institutions and the armed forces, and praised the steadfastness of the Sudanese and the cohesion of the social fabric despite the harsh repercussions of the April 15 war.<br \/>\nThe Democratic Bloc also approved a revitalization plan that includes visits initiated by the Bloc\u2019s leaders to the states of the East, North, and Darfur in support of the popular mobilization campaign organized in the country and to support the masses, cohesion with the grassroots, and strengthening the social fabric.<br \/>\nIt has announced initiation of a number of meetings with Sudanese political forces in its quest to reach a broad national movement that supports the unity of Sudan and its institutions and to find common ground that establishes a rational and responsible national role for the civil forces.<br \/>\nThe Democratic Bloc revealed a visit to Juba, the capital of South Sudan, early next February, in response to an invitation by the President Salva Kiir Mayardit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sudan Events &#8211;
