Shuavel Ben Gvir&#8217;s post was later deleted but his father wrote on the same platform that his \u201cbe-loved son\u201d had committed a \u201cserious error\u201d and that he \u201cdeeply disapproved\u201d of it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe United States of America is our great friend and President Biden is a friend of Israel,\u201d he wrote in Hebrew.<\/p>\n<p>There was no place for such \u201cderogatory\u201d comments, he said, adding: \u201cI apologize for my son&#8217;s words.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In recent days, Ben-Gvir has himself criticized Biden for not giving Israel sufficient support in the war with Gaza militants.<\/p>\n<p>His outburst against Biden came after Washington took the rare move of imposing sanctions on four Israeli settlers following rising violence against Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Ben-Gvir himself lives in a settlement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Sudan Events &#8211; Sumaya Sayed\u00a0 Israel&#8217;s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir apologized on Tuesday after his son implied in an online post that US President Joe Biden had Alzheimer&#8217;s disease.
