Why do you hide behind my back?<\/p>\n

So as not to be killed or tracked?<\/p>\n

I am not a soldier<\/p>\n

I’ve no gun on my shoulder<\/p>\n

I do neither give the order<\/p>\n

To do you any harm or pain<\/p>\n

I am a mere civilian,<\/p>\n

I am soooo plain<\/p>\n

With only bare hands<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I could only raise my voice to say the (NO)<\/p>\n

But I always obey the law<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I’ve no training to defend myself or my family, so<\/p>\n

Why do you follow me like my shadow?<\/p>\n

You go wherever I go<\/p>\n

And you do whatever I do<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why do you trace my walk?<\/p>\n

And smile when I smile<\/p>\n

And talk the way I talk<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Is it a game of fun?<\/p>\n

To put me in the mouth of your gun<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But when it is up there,<\/p>\n

when you see the fire…<\/p>\n

Like a coward you make the run<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To seek refuge under my feet<\/p>\n

In the muddy street<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why do you soldier make shield of me?<\/p>\n

To save your soul and seek safety<\/p>\n

You dirty, that is dirty! !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How dare you shoot your enemy from my shoulder?<\/p>\n

Then you come to hide behind me<\/p>\n

Were I the one who gave the order?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why did you force me into a role I would never choose?<\/p>\n

This twisted game, where danger is free and loose<\/p>\n

And death bragging in the streets of my town<\/p>\n

So, step down<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Set free my back<\/p>\n

I will not follow your track<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just stand up on your feet<\/p>\n

Be brave and face your fate<\/p>\n

That you have been trained to meet<\/p>\n

The swine…you the swine…<\/p>\n
