{"id":15095,"date":"2024-02-28T05:57:12","date_gmt":"2024-02-28T05:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudanevents.com\/?p=15095"},"modified":"2024-02-28T05:57:12","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T05:57:12","slug":"sudanese-foreign-ministry-rsf-had-met-all-criteria-to-be-declared-a-terrorist-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudanevents.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/28\/sudanese-foreign-ministry-rsf-had-met-all-criteria-to-be-declared-a-terrorist-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Sudanese Foreign Ministry: RSF had met all Criteria to be Declared a Terrorist Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sudan Events &#8211; Agencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Sudanese Foreign Ministry said that the Government of Sudan submitted a response to the latest report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on the human rights situation in Sudan.<br \/>\nIt explained in a press statement on Tuesday that it included observations and corrections to what was stated in the report, particularly in regard to the description of the crisis in Sudan.<br \/>\nThe Foreign Ministry indicated that the Sudanese government, in its response, renewed the commitment of the Sudanese Armed Forces SAF to international humanitarian law and human rights law while carrying out its constitutional duty to defend Sudan and its people.<br \/>\nIt continued: Including strict adherence to the rules of engagement in urban areas.<br \/>\nThe Sudanese government\u2019s response rejected attempts to equate the Sudanese Armed Forces SAF with the \u201cterrorist militia\u201d and call them two parties to the conflict.<br \/>\nThe Sudanese Foreign Ministry welcomed the report\u2019s mention of the unprecedented atrocities of the \u201cmilitia\u201d and its blatant and documented violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law.<br \/>\nIt pointed out that these \u201cmilitia\u201d atrocities were repeated in reports by the United Nations UN and international organizations and documented by major media outlets.<br \/>\nIt explained that it reaffirms that the \u201crebel militia\u201d has met all the necessary criteria to be declared a terrorist group.<br \/>\nThe Ministry reaffirmed the Sudanese government&#8217;s commitment to facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid and adopting a fast-track policy to implement all procedures and requirements of humanitarian organizations.<br \/>\nIt called on the international community to condemn in the strongest terms the \u201crebel militia\u2019s\u201d obstruction of humanitarian work by deviating from implementing its obligations under the Jeddah Agreement.<br \/>\nIt pointed out that the Rapid Support Forces RSF continued to occupy strategic and service facilities and civilian objects, establish outposts on main roads, and loot the warehouses of humanitarian organizations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sudan Events &#8211; Agencies The Sudanese Foreign Ministry said that the Government of Sudan submitted a response to the latest report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on the human rights situation in Sudan.
