He explained that any professional film that has a distribution cycle goes to festivals first, and if there is a possibility, it goes to the movie .
It goes despite the lack of opportunities for short films to be shown in the movie. He added: It starts with the festivals and goes to cinemas and platforms or is sold. Televisions and this is what we will do.
Attracting financing
There is no doubt that films such as (Goodbye Julia) and (She Will Die at Twenty) constituted a new revival for Sudanese movie and encouraged many youth to consider it a starting point and the films will continue, a statement confirmed by Yassir that she will die at twenty, and Goodbye Julia:
They obtained opportunities for Sudanese movie because they attracted international productions.
It is not a lot, but compared to what came before, it is very huge. It is important to attract non-Sudanese production companies and tell them that there is production in Sudan, and then the films return their revenues.
He added: The second point is that these films achieved success at the public and artistic levels, and film critics were interested in them, and this It gives confidence to Sudanese cinema and obtain many opportunities for it.
Adventure movie
At the present time, young people are turning to films with their own resources, although Sudanese movie has been complaining about the lack of funding over the past years.
It is a paradox now that Yasser justified it with the ease of the times.
Currently, factors are available that were not previously available, including cinema technology itself. It has become easier than in the past. Obtaining technologies is easier, and knowledge and learning are done online. There are facilities that the era has brought.
However, the previous generation had greater opportunities, but did not invest them well, especially those who attended the transformations.
The new ones have not had production in recent years that puts them in the ranks of their old production or the production of current youth. Fayez believes that the ability of youths to move is greater than the last generation, in addition to the fact that the existing Sudanese production companies produce drama and cinema with limited capabilities and did not have the desire to enter into an adventure. A huge industry like movie.

Years of experience
Yassir Fayez is a film director and producer, in addition to more than 10 years of experience in professional media as well as cultural management.
He began working in journalism and then moved to work professionally in the field of video and films.
