Dedicated to the lost souls of the schoolboys and schoolgirls<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

of El-Obied Massacre in Kordofan July 29,2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He was only a schoolboy,<\/p>\n

On his way to school<\/p>\n

He was thirteen, slim and tall<\/p>\n

Unaware of the world around him<\/p>\n

About to start his school day at a gym<\/p>\n

As he was good at athletics<\/p>\n

Excellent in physics and mathematics<\/p>\n

And because he was a normal boy<\/p>\n

His life was always full of joy<\/p>\n

With his books all the day and his games<\/p>\n

And sometimes changes his toys<\/p>\n

With other boys<\/p>\n

But he did never destroy or annoy,<\/p>\n

Or disturb anyone’s joy<\/p>\n

And because he was a normal boy,<\/p>\n

He used to enjoy life with high dreams<\/p>\n

Surrounded with a pool of good friends<\/p>\n

And because he was a boy<\/p>\n

A normal boy<\/p>\n

He spends a lot of time reading books<\/p>\n

Watching films, especially Tom and Jerry<\/p>\n

But keen to do his assignments on time<\/p>\n

Then will hurry,<\/p>\n

To sneak on his Web Pages<\/p>\n

On the Facebook and Instagram<\/p>\n

Sending photos of birds and animals<\/p>\n

As he dreams one day to be a vet<\/p>\n

Then after that he will text his classmates<\/p>\n

To make a date<\/p>\n

For a tournament in the evening<\/p>\n

At the school gate<\/p>\n

He was only a boy, thirteen years old! !<\/p>\n

Smart and bold<\/p>\n

But on that day,<\/p>\n

He was on his way, to school<\/p>\n

Armed with some pencils,<\/p>\n

Some textbooks, a football<\/p>\n

And a ruler of twelve inches<\/p>\n

His school bag on his shoulder<\/p>\n

He did never talk to a soldier<\/p>\n

Nevertheless,<\/p>\n

The sniper shot him from above the roof<\/p>\n

Why for? What for?<\/p>\n

What did he want to prove?<\/p>\n

Why did he kill the boy in cold blood?<\/p>\n

Because the boy asked for a loaf of bread\u2026<\/p>\n

Was it a good reason to shoot him dead?<\/p>\n

With a bullet on the back of his head?<\/p>\n

That was exactly what the sniper skillfully did<\/p>\n

He shot the boy dead on the head<\/p>\n

Then the boy came down to the ground<\/p>\n

His face kissed the sand of his land<\/p>\n

The golden sand of Shykan in Kordofan<\/p>\n

Where history began in Sudan<\/p>\n

He was only a boy! !<\/p>\n

But the sniper shot him down<\/p>\n

He gave him no time<\/p>\n

To defend himself<\/p>\n

Or know his crime<\/p>\n

He gave him no time<\/p>\n

To say his prayers<\/p>\n

Or say a goodbye to his family<\/p>\n

Or pay a farewell to his Mom and dad<\/p>\n

He was a mere poor lad<\/p>\n

His soul soon went to sky<\/p>\n

He did never shout against the soldiers<\/p>\n

And he did never break their orders<\/p>\n

He only asked for food<\/p>\n

And a cup of water for the day<\/p>\n

To finish his school and run away<\/p>\n

Back home<\/p>\n

Where he would sit down in his simple room<\/p>\n

Read his books and do his homework<\/p>\n

As soon as possible to join his schoolmate<\/p>\n

At the school gate<\/p>\n

To play an evening football match<\/p>\n

But he did not think of the fate<\/p>\n

That a sniper would shoot him<\/p>\n

On the back of his head<\/p>\n

And make him dead<\/p>\n

But still SNIPER\u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n

Who taught you to (shoot to kill?) *<\/p>\n

And still<\/p>\n

Why did you kill the schoolboy?<\/p>\n

What was his crime?<\/p>\n

“Because\u2026\u2026.”<\/p>\n

“Because\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026”<\/p>\n

“Because\u2026\u2026…………………………………………….”<\/p>\n

In fact, there was no cause<\/p>\n

But, ah\u2026.. because, the boy was too smart,<\/p>\n

Slim and tall! !<\/p>\n

And because he was adored by all<\/p>\n

All his friends\u2026<\/p>\n

Because he was very good at football! !<\/p>\n

And because, because he used to love the school<\/p>\n
