If there is something suitable as a slogan at this stage of the war on Sudan, then this thing is \u201cCleansing is a national duty.\u201d By the idea of this slogan, before General Yasser Al-Atta spoke about its content, it was raised by the parties of the April 1985 Revolution, in the face of elements of General Nimeiry regime is the same party that the Public Prosecution announced today the names of some of its leaders who are wanted by justice, along with others.
\nAt an early stage of the war, there was widespread talk about the necessity of \u201clooking for alternatives,\u201d alternatives to the old political club whose blood was divided between agents and others unable to do anything. When the people spoke publicly about this, the \u201cForces of Freedom and Change (FFC) – Central Council\u201d were reviewing with themselves and with other concerned parties various images of their ability to stick the army\u2019s nose in the mud, and force it to stop the war and reconcile with the \u201cRapid Suppor Forces (RSF)” through international pressure and the threat of sanctions, but it did not want to understand that every non-Sudanese formula for what it later called the \u201cTaqaddum \u201d was already doomed to failure.
\nOver the course of nearly five years, which is the life of the regime that resulted from the December movement until now, and in the midst of the war, the FFC has transformed the Sudanese political scene into something similar to an experimental field for proposed alternatives. It is clear that every non-Sudanese alternative was heading towards a dead end, and it would quickly return from it and engage in the search for another alternative. The result was not different each time from the previous one, because the rule that you can’t do the same thing a second time and then expect a different result, is still true.
\nThe nature of things says that the conflict that produced the war had its causes that brought it to light, and unless we deal with these same causes, we have no choice but to wait for another flood, but in different clothes, of course because history does not repeat itself in the same way or in the same form, and the most important of these reasons is the intelligence penetration of the Sudanese political club by countries seeking to occupy Sudan through local agents.
\nAt a time when the leaders of \u201cTaqaddum\u201d were holding out hopes on Kabashi\u2019s statements and considered them a flirtation that might end in a new civil-military honeymoon the next day, however, by declaring them wanted by justice in Sudan, on charges of participating in war crimes and allying with the enemy, they made sure that \u201ctoday the next one they are waiting for will not come.
\nThe Public Prosecution\u2019s orders to arrest the leaders of \u201cTaqaddum\u201d are the best evidence that the following days that await it will be nothing but Sudanese in flesh and blood. Therefore, it must turn around again and search for an alternative other than the one that led it to this fate, and I most likely think that the next time, then in every next time, it finds itself again facing what it ran away from starting with the first Cleansing is a National Duty (1)
