Her announcement caused widespread controversy among her fans, as some demanded a boycott of the festival because of the rumors about the UAE\u2019s support for Sudan\u2019s war and the displacement of its people.<br \/>\nIt is worth noting that the festival is organized by the UAE to celebrate the spirit of tolerance with the Sudanese people, in which the culture and heritage of Sudan is showcased, including its diversity and long history in customs and traditions. The festival includes a number of performances and activities in addition to singing and show segments.
