The President of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, has arrived in the city of Merowe amid official and popular receptions.
\nUpon his arrival, he inspected the command of the 19th Infantry Division, in Merowe
\n, and received comprehensive enlightenment about the overall situation in the northern state.
\nAl-Burhan reassured the efforts made by the division\u2019s command to secure the region, praising the state\u2019s masses\u2019 rally around the armed forces and their involvement in the popular resistance.
\nThe Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces toured the Merowe market, checked the flow of goods and their prices, and checked on the commercial activity in the city.
\nAl-Burhan also visited the city of Dongola, held a meeting with the northern state government and the state security committee, and was reassured during the meeting about the security and economic situation in the state.
