On Friday, violent clashes broke out between the army and the joint force against the Rapid support militia (RSF) east of El Fasher, and continued from the morning until sunset of the same day.
\nThe armed forces and the joint force were able to fully control the course of events by destroying a number of the militia\u2019s military vehicles and a number of vehicles, and capturing a number of them.
\nThe main power station east of El Fasher was also controlled and restored, and dozens of militia soldiers were killed, some of whom fled to the far east of El Fasher. The vehicles received and the dead from the militia are being counted.
\nThe joint force reported in a statement that the RSF militia launched a heavy artillery attack on Friday morning, targeting neighborhoods in Al-Fasher, leaving dozens wounded and dead among civilians.
\nThe Force added, “As a result, the joint force of the armed struggle movements moved to confront the attacking militia in the Battle of “Al-Nafs Al-Tawil”, which lasted about 10 hours.”
\nThe statement indicated that the joint force inflicted severe losses on the militia in equipment and lives and received a number of vehicles.
\nIn this context, the head of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Minni Arko Minawi, said on Friday that the joint force and other regular agencies forced the militia to retreat.
\nMinawi said in a tweet on \u201cX\u201d that \u201cthe joint force and other regular agencies were able to defeat the RSF, burn a number of combat vehicles, and force them to retreat away from El Fasher.\u201d<\/p>\n

He accused the militia of following a scorched earth policy in El Fasher, by indiscriminately and deliberately bombing citizens’ sites and burning institutions.<\/p>\n

He announced the recovery of vital sites, including the Electricity Department, accusing the Rapid Support of sabotaging them. He continued, saying, \u201cThese people do not want the state, but rather amateurs of chaos and destruction and a supplier of violations.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same context, Al-Fasher Southern Hospital received a number of wounded as a result of the indiscriminate bombing of the militia, as the militia bombed some neighborhoods of Al-Fasher, which led to a number of deaths and other numbers of wounded.
