The governor of the Darfur region and head of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, Minni Arko Minawi, has said that between the attack on El Fasher and the Addis Ababa conference, \u201cTaqaddum \u201d coordination and the parties responsible for sponsoring and financing it are impatiently waiting for taking down of El Fasher to announce the birth of an ethnic militia state on the skulls of the people of Darfur in western Sudan.
\nHe added, “I am absolutely certain that those who attack El Fasher are merely tools for carrying out another series of genocide. The rooms that lead these operations, plans, war strategies, and ending with the instructions are all managed by the countries sponsoring Taqaddum .”
\nMinawi said in a post that when El Fasher became disobedient with its people, army, and armed movements, the militias adopted an approach that made them commit the largest ethnic cleansing operation in the shortest time, which was the indiscriminate bombing of homes and hospitals with the aim of displacing the people outside the city, so that the city remained a ghost area, as is the case in Zalingei, Nyala, and El Geneina.
\nHe continued, \u201cYesterday alone, it was documented from Al-Fasher Southern Hospital that among civilians, the number of wounded was eighty-two, most of them women, children, and the elderly, and thirty deaths among civilians, in addition to 27 wounded and seventeen deaths among military personnel.\u201d
\nHe added, “This is evidence that those who attack El Fasher aim to exterminate in order to wipe ouy this great urban city and build another barbaric city on its ruins.”
\nHe said that this is the moment they are waiting for when a \u201cTaqaddum\u201d comes from Addis Ababa to write a letter requesting that western Sudan be placed in international trusteeship to facilitate plunder and theft for them and their subjects after the region becomes guarded by Janjaweeds.
