Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, \u201cwho is dragging the region and the entire world into disaster,\u201d must be stopped, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.
\n“This barbarian, thug, and bloodthirsty greedy named Netanyahu, who is dragging our region and the entire world into disaster, must be stopped,\u201d Erdogan said on Sunday during his speech in the capital Ankara.
\n“As T\u00fcrkiye, we object to the oppression, massacre and injustice that has been going on for 76 years on every platform. We stand with the Palestinian people with all our means,” he added.
\nOn the fight against terrorism, Erdogan said: “T\u00fcrkiye cannot find peace or feel secure until the terror-producing swamps in northern Iraq and Syria are drained.”
\nMore than 36,400 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in a deadly Israeli offensive on Gaza since last October 7 following a Hamas attack. The majority of those killed have been women and children, with over 82,600 others injured, according to local health authorities.
