Pointing out that it is difficult for her to control the pitch of her voice due to the spasms caused by the disease.<br \/>\nThis came months after she admitted that she was determined to return to the stage, singing and playing again.<br \/>\nIt is noteworthy that the 56-year-old singer was diagnosed with the rare and incurable autoimmune neurological disorder \u201cStiff Person Syndrome\u201d in 2022, and was forced to cancel all future tour dates as a result.<br \/>\nThis syndrome affects approximately one in every million people, and causes severe pain and difficulty in movement, which prevents physical activity.<br \/>\nDion had revealed in a previous interview with French Vogue magazine that she follows \u201cexercise, physical and vocal therapy\u201d five days a week during which she works on her body and voice.<br \/>\nAt the end of January, Amazon Prime Video announced its intention to release a documentary about the singer entitled \u201cI Am: Celine Dion,\u201d through which she wants to \u201craise awareness\u201d of her disease.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sudan Events &#8211; Agencies After she shocked millions of her fans around the world by revealing the disease that afflicted her with stiffness, Canadian singer Celine Dion narrated some of what she suffers as a result of her \u201cstiff person syndrome\u201d and the painful symptoms that she suffers from.
