Mukhtar Omar Saber, said that work has started from the Military College to the village of Al-Taseen and the work will move north to Umm Kuti.<br \/>\nHe added that whenever the financial conditions improve, work will continue on the road again.<br \/>\nHe explained that maintaining the road along a length of 56 km in a complete and good manner requires 30,000 tons in length and proportion to the current conditions.<br \/>\nWe are trying as much as possible to prevent the deterioration of the road.<br \/>\nHe announced the start of the second maintenance phase after twenty days, while other phases will follow.<br \/>\nHe said that we worked on maintaining all the valleys and slides that were affected during the past year. We only have two valleys left, and an agreement was reached with the National Authority to undertake their maintenance.
