I leave with a heavy heart; the ongoing war is a tragedy for the Sudanese people.\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He added, \u201cI understand that some Sudanese strongly oppose certain aspects of UK policy. But our goal has always been, and still is, to support the values of the December Revolution: freedom, peace, justice, and civil governance.\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He continued, \u201cDespite the immense sorrow of the past sixteen months, I will also retain fond memories of the country\u2019s beauty and cultural richness, as well as the kindness and charm of the Sudanese people.
