The directorate explained in its latest bulletin that &#8220;Morocco welcomed a record number of 2.6 million tourists in July 2024, with a growth rate of 20%.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Regarding tourism revenues, the second quarter of 2024 ended with a momentum of 9.4%, raising its growth to 2.3% last June. Morocco\u2019s tourism recovery plan expects to receive 26 million tourists annually by 2030.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Tourism was the second-largest source of foreign exchange in Morocco during 2023, after remittances from expatriates abroad, which amounted to approximately 11.5 billion dollars, according to data from the Exchange Office in the Kingdom.
