\nAn Iraqi Hezbollah commander was killed in a drone strike, likely carried out by Israel, while another member of the faction was wounded, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
\nThe drone reportedly targeted the commander’s vehicle early Friday on the road to Damascus International Airport.
\nEyewitnesses told the Observatory that the vehicle was on fire, and the commander had a military base and a rest house in the area. It was unclear if he had left the base for the rest house or if his destination was elsewhere.
