According to Anadolu Agency, the ship set sail from Mersin Port in southern Turkey on Friday after completing all necessary procedures. During the send-off ceremony, Sudan\u2019s Ambassador to Turkey, Nader Youssef Al-Tayeb, expressed his deep gratitude to all those involved in providing assistance to his country.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ambassador Al-Tayeb highlighted that over the past three months, nearly 8,000 tons of humanitarian aid have been sent from Turkey to Sudan. He emphasized the critical need for continued support, adding that the Sudanese people and government will not forget this act of kindness. Emre Kaya, a member of the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation\u2019s Board of Directors, noted that they are sending the aid ship to one of the most oppressed regions in the world.
