The Ministry of Education in Nile River State has set October 20 as the tentative start date for the new academic year 2024\u20132025.<\/div>\n
On Tuesday, the advisory committees for education began their meetings in the Ministry of Education\u2019s hall in Damer, attended by the Governor of Nile River State, Mohammed Al-Badawi Abdul-Majid Abu Qurun, alongside government officials, the state security committee, union leaders, educational experts, and administrators from the three educational stages.<\/div>\n
The governor renewed his government\u2019s interest in education, considering it the key to advancing and developing nations. He urged the advisory committees to address the relationship between the educational system, laws, and public policies, as well as to focus on analyzing last year\u2019s performance, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and developing plans to overcome challenges.<\/div>\n
The governor also directed the formation of an advisory council for the middle school stage, involving educational experts, to address all the issues facing middle schools and to establish a timeline for their resolution.<\/div>\n
Regarding suspensions of transfers and promotions, the governor revealed that there had been communications with the Sovereignty Council to grant an exception to Nile River State to appoint teachers, as it is one of the most secure and educationally stable states, welcoming many displaced people from other states who are receiving education in the state.<\/div>\n
The governor also called for the reactivation of cadet programs in secondary schools, as well as literary associations, cultural and sports activities, and early preparation for the third Education Day. He announced his support for the return of model schools in the state.<\/div>\n
The advisory committees will continue their meetings in Nile River State, with final recommendations expected at the conclusion of their sessions on Thursday.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
