While some regions experience drought, Sudan has seen an increase in rainfall. Speaking at the Regional Forum on Accelerating Food Systems Transformation in the Arab World in Amman, Jordan, he highlighted how climate change in Sudan has led to higher rainfall. He also dismissed claims of widespread hunger in Sudan, emphasizing its rich natural resources and skilled farmers, along with a favorable climate allowing for diverse crop cultivation. &#8220;Sudan isn\u2019t facing a food shortage; production is abundant. The challenge is delivering it to people in areas occupied by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF),&#8221; he said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Al-Bushra stressed the importance of research institutions in Arab nations, given the impact of climate change on crop, vegetable, and fruit mapping. \u201cCrop varieties will need to adapt to the changing climate,\u201d he added.
