The IOM Head, Amy Pope, and Federal Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Salwa Adam met with local officials and community members who described the extensive damage to homes, schools, and vital facilities. They requested temporary shelter support.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Salwa highlighted the Commission\u2019s role in supporting those displaced by wars and natural disasters, including floods affecting parts of Sudan. Aid distribution is underway through local organizations, with food and shelter supplies provided by donors.
