He added, &#8220;After this date, the old currency notes of 1000 and 500 pounds will no longer be accepted in the states and cities designated for exchange.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Al-Houri urged the public to take advantage of the time and not wait until the last days to exchange the currency due to potential risks and expected congestion.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He confirmed that the currency exchange process, on its third day, is proceeding smoothly and in an organized manner, with good security conditions in all the exchange states.
