The appeals court found that Willis\u2019 romantic relationship with a former deputy created an &#8220;ongoing appearance of impropriety.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The case was already expected to be paused, at least temporarily, when Trump assumes the presidency next month.
