Italian coach of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, has warned competitors of the reigning La Liga and Champions League champions that French star Kylian Mbapp\u00e9\u2019s adjustment period at the Spanish capital club has come to an end.<\/div>\n

The French national team captain had a mixed start at Real since joining last summer from Paris Saint-Germain but has shown flashes of brilliance that made him one of the world\u2019s best players.<\/div>\n

Mbapp\u00e9 has scored 13 goals in 23 matches across all competitions for Real, and Ancelotti predicts even more goals in the future.<\/div>\n

Speaking at a press conference, Ancelotti said:<\/div>\n
\u201cI believe the adjustment period is over. He has shown a good version of himself and can still improve, but he has been excellent in recent matches and has recovered from the minor injury he suffered.\u201d<\/div>\n

Referring to the 26-year-old, he added:<\/div>\n
\u201cHe is now more motivated, enthusiastic, and happy to be here. He went through an adjustment phase, which is natural for any player, but it\u2019s behind him now.\u201d<\/div>\n

After recovering from a thigh injury, Mbapp\u00e9 scored in Real\u2019s 3-0 victory over Mexico\u2019s Pachuca midweek in the Intercontinental Cup final in Doha.<\/div>\n

This season, Mbapp\u00e9 has faced challenges off the field and has struggled to find his ideal role among other Real Madrid stars, especially Brazilian Vin\u00edcius J\u00fanior and Englishman Jude Bellingham.<\/div>\n

When asked where Mbapp\u00e9 needs to improve, Ancelotti said:<\/div>\n
\u201cJust in consistency. He needs to make the moves that no one else can as often as possible.\u201d<\/div>\n

He added:<\/div>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t ask him to contribute heavily to building play because of his specific qualities. Instead, I want him to focus on finishing plays and scoring.\u201d<\/div>\n

Barcelona currently leads the standings on goal difference ahead of Atl\u00e9tico Madrid before their Saturday showdown. Meanwhile, Real sits third, one point behind, as they prepare to host Sevilla on Sunday at the Santiago Bernab\u00e9u.<\/div>\n

Ancelotti expects the title race to be tight until the end of the season, saying:<\/div>\n
\u201cIt will be a much more competitive league than in recent seasons. Atl\u00e9tico has everything needed to fight for the title, and they will.
