This has resulted in scarcity and unavailability of many industrial goods in local markets, dependence on imports, currency depreciation, and other negative effects.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking on Sunday during the opening of a workshop titled &#8220;The National Role of Industrial Facilities in Times of Crisis,&#8221; organized by the &#8220;Jedarat Center for Training and Human Development&#8221; in the Red Sea Government Hall, the minister highlighted the ministry\u2019s emergency policies implemented since the outbreak of the conflict. These policies have facilitated the resumption of industrial activities in safe states, opened new supply lines for factories, and enhanced the utilization of existing industrial capacities.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Yaqoub noted that these efforts have helped bridge supply gaps and represent a strategic plan to support stability and achieve balanced development across the states. She emphasized that the ministry has worked tirelessly to develop a new, flexible strategy for the sector in the wake of widespread, systematic destruction.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The minister also pointed out the ministry&#8217;s hosting of a &#8220;Conference on Industry Development and Reconstruction&#8221; in May under the supervision of Transitional Sovereign Council member, Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim. The conference, attended by governors, aimed to prepare regions for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the industrial sector, distributing projects based on the comparative advantages of each state to ensure balanced development across Sudan.
