The visit was aimed at delivering a message from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to his Sudanese counterpart, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and holding discussions with key officials.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Joint Meeting<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Sudanese Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Youssef Al-Sharif welcomed his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, at Port Sudan International Airport at 10 a.m. yesterday. Following the arrival, a joint meeting was held between Sudan and Egypt. The meeting included Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt, General Imad Al-Din Adawi, and Egypt\u2019s Ambassador to Sudan, Hani Salah, alongside other ambassadors from both countries.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Egypt\u2019s Support for Sudan<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Dr. Badr Abdel Aty reaffirmed Egypt&#8217;s full support for Sudan and its national institutions, emphasizing the importance of maintaining Sudan\u2019s unity and territorial integrity. He stressed the need to achieve a ceasefire and exert all efforts to restore security and stability in Sudan. The meeting highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the two nations and explored ways to enhance and develop these relations.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Abdel Aty also briefed attendees on Egypt\u2019s efforts to ensure Sudan&#8217;s reintegration into the African Union and its active participation in regional and international initiatives to preserve Sudan\u2019s security, stability, and sovereignty. He expressed appreciation for Sudan\u2019s measures to facilitate humanitarian aid, reflecting the commitment to alleviating the suffering of Sudanese citizens.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Meeting with Malik Agar<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">During his visit to Port Sudan, the Egyptian Foreign Minister met with Malik Agar, Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council. Abdel Aty underscored the historical relationship between the two nations and reiterated Egypt\u2019s support for Sudanese institutions, unity, and territorial integrity. He highlighted Egypt&#8217;s efforts to ease the suffering of the Sudanese people and ensure the delivery of humanitarian assistance to Sudan.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Sudanese Affairs in Egypt<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The discussions also addressed the issues facing Sudanese citizens in Egypt and the challenges they encounter. Abdel Aty reviewed the measures taken by Egypt to facilitate the stay of Sudanese nationals, including organizing secondary school exams for Sudanese students in Egypt. He noted that this effort aligns with directives from the Egyptian President and demonstrates Egypt\u2019s commitment to supporting the Sudanese community in pursuing their education.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He expressed his satisfaction with the recent organization of secondary school exams for approximately 28,000 Sudanese students in Egypt, reaffirming Egypt\u2019s dedication to assisting them in completing their educational journey.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Meeting with Al-Burhan<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aty.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In a press statement, Dr. Ali Youssef noted that Abdel Aty conveyed greetings and congratulations from President El-Sisi and the Egyptian people to Al-Burhan and the Sudanese Armed Forces on their victories, including the liberation of Wad Madani and its return to national control.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The meeting discussed the overall situation and explored ways to strengthen and advance cooperation between the two nations.
