Djokovic, who was set to represent Serbia in the much-anticipated match from January 31 to February 2 in Copenhagen, pulled out due to a hamstring injury sustained during his Australian Open semifinal against Alexander Zverev last week.<\/p>\n
The 24-time Grand Slam champion faced boos from the crowd at Melbourne Park and responded by posting an MRI scan of his left hamstring on social media with the caption: “I leave this scan for all the sports injury experts.”<\/em><\/p>\n Djokovic (37) was part of the Serbian team that won the Davis Cup in 2010 after a memorable victory against France in Belgrade.<\/p>\n Serbia\u2019s captain, Viktor Troicki, commented: “Djokovic’s absence weakens the team, but we will still fight to win.
