The initiative aims to discuss joint projects among the member states.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech, the minister emphasized the importance of economic integration and collective efforts to strengthen the region\u2019s capabilities. He highlighted Sudan\u2019s abundant natural resources, stating that the country is well-positioned to contribute to the region\u2019s food security. He also stressed the need for Sudan to leverage available financing through the African Development Bank to support key sectors and enhance the region\u2019s development.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ibrahim underscored the significance of joint efforts in infrastructure projects, including roads and railways, to maximize Sudan\u2019s strategic location in linking Africa to global markets and boosting foreign trade through its seaports. He also highlighted cooperation in water and electricity projects, calling for Sudan to benefit from Ethiopia\u2019s electricity supply and for regional countries to utilize environmentally friendly energy resources. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of addressing climate change risks affecting the Horn of Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The minister expressed Sudan\u2019s commitment to ending the ongoing war due to its negative impact on regional peace and stability.
