Uruguayan defender Mat\u00edas Oliveira has signed a new long-term contract with Italian football club Napoli on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Oliveira, who plays as a left-back, has extended his contract with Napoli, who are competing for the Italian Serie A title, until June 2030, as reported by the British news agency (PA Media).<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old Oliveira joined Napoli from Spanish club Getafe in the summer of 2022 and has played 90 matches for the southern Italian team across all competitions, scoring three goals.<\/p>\n
Oliveira has participated in 22 matches with Napoli this season, and his last appearance for the team was on Saturday during their 1-1 draw against Inter Milan, after recovering from a calf injury. He came on as a substitute late in the match.<\/p>\n
This result left Napoli one point behind Inter Milan (the leaders), while Napoli remains two points ahead of Atalanta, who are in third place.<\/p>\n
