She affirmed the UN\u2019s readiness to respond, but emphasized the necessity of safe and sustained access, describing it as \u201cessential.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The UN\u2019s OCHA in Sudan reported that hunger is forcing people in the Zamzam camp to eat the leftover crushed grains used for oil production, known as \u201cambaz\u201d\u2014a substance typically fed to animals.
