The National Human Rights Commission reported that 300 civilians, including 15 women, were killed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the city of Al-Nuhud, located in West Kordofan State.
\nIn a statement, the Commission said it “condemns and denounces the violations committed by the RSF, including targeting, executions, and direct killings of approximately 300 civilians, among them 15 women and 21 children.”<\/p>\n
The Commission also condemned the looting of markets and the Al-Nuhud Teaching Hospital \u2014 the only facility providing medical services in the area. Medical supply warehouses were looted, and several pharmacies were vandalized and destroyed.<\/p>\n
The Commission expressed strong disapproval of the RSF\u2019s prevention of civilians from leaving the city, calling it a serious violation amounting to a war crime and a crime against humanity.
