The National Exporters Chamber of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce has confirmed the private sector\u2019s eagerness to strengthen its relations with its Indian counterparts. Ibrahim Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, a member of the Executive Office of the Exporters Chamber, stated that the Sudanese private sector is keen to develop partnerships with India to attract real investments that contribute to rebuilding what the war has destroyed.<\/p>\n
During his meeting with the Commercial Attach\u00e9 of the Indian Embassy in Port Sudan, he revealed a joint vision to activate the protocols signed between the two countries and to sign new trade agreements and protocols for crops such as watermelon seeds, lentils, cotton, and soybeans. These are expected to boost Sudan’s exports and overall production, under the supervision of the Ministry of Trade and relevant authorities in the coming phase.<\/p>\n
For his part, the Commercial Attach\u00e9 of the Indian Embassy, Vijay Kumar Verma, stated that India is keen to increase the volume of trade with Sudan.<\/p>\n
He noted that India has a strong demand for Sudanese agricultural products, particularly sesame, watermelon seeds, lentils, chickpeas, cotton, and gum arabic, in addition to minerals such as lead and aluminum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
