Al-Sadiq Mohamed Al-Azraq, asserted that he will not allow what he called “discord, fragmentation, and conflict” among the components of the state to arise for the slightest reasons. He emphasized the importance of addressing such issues promptly.<\/p>\n
He also stressed that security will be a top priority, adhering to the directives of the President of the Sovereignty Council, which include curbing chaos and maintaining societal peace.<\/p>\n
During his speech at the opening session of the first scientific forum of the Higher Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance in the state \u2014 held under the slogan \u201cGod \u2014 Nation \u2014 People\u201d \u2014 the governor stated that Kassala had previously witnessed significant disputes and conflicts due to a lack of consensus, but has since stabilized thanks to tribal leaders, wise individuals, and youth concerned with the public interest.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cWe are committed to maintaining equal distance from all sides, without discrimination or exclusion, to avoid returning to square one.\u201d He added, \u201cWe will work alongside tribal leaders, the security committee, and the executive apparatus to devise plans to maintain the state\u2019s security,\u201d and praised the efforts of the popular resistance during the past period.<\/p>\n
The governor stated that this war is, above all, the people\u2019s war, and that without the people\u2019s alignment with the Armed Forces during this crisis and severe aggression, there would have been no victories or advances. He highlighted the major role of the popular resistance in boosting the morale of the Armed Forces and keeping the fighters steadfast in the field.<\/p>\n
He noted the changes in the nature of the war, including the use of modern weapons and technology, unlike traditional warfare, and said, \u201cThe scoundrels have no understanding of such matters.\u201d He added that the escalation by the UAE through drone strikes targeting civilian sites and vital institutions aims to pressure the high command, increase the cost of the war, and turn victories into public outrage and revolt against the Armed Forces and state leadership \u2014 but to no avail.<\/p>\n
He affirmed that the Sudanese people continue to prove, day by day, that they stand firmly beside the Armed Forces, and that despite such targeting and the destruction of power stations and fuel depots, they will neither fear nor break, even if bombarded with missiles.<\/p>\n
The governor called for the popular resistance to be an inclusive platform for all, stressing that no group would be allowed to use it for illegal activities or private agendas.<\/p>\n
He concluded, \u201cWhoever wishes to bear arms and serve the nation through the popular resistance must shed partisanship, tribalism, and regionalism, and come purely as a patriot.\u201d He added, \u201cWe don\u2019t want the popular resistance to be symbolic, but to take on its proper form and expand across all sectors, units, localities, and villages so that anyone wishing to serve the nation can find their place within it.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
