The statement stressed that this declaration does not bring Sudan any closer to resolving the conflict, which can only be achieved through comprehensive and meaningful dialogue and negotiations.<\/p>\n
The Secretary-General reaffirmed that preserving Sudan\u2019s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity remains key to a sustainable resolution of the conflict.<\/p>\n
He also strongly condemned the ongoing violence against civilians across Sudan, including horrific instances of conflict-related sexual violence and ethnic violence.<\/p>\n
