Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism Khalid Al-Ayisr said that the double standards in addressing crimes committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and foreign mercenaries are today costing the lives and safety of children, women, and the elderly in Sudan.<\/p>\n
He stated that if international positions were sincere\u2014rooted in genuine humanitarian values and principles\u2014civilians in El Fasher, Dilling, Kadugli, and other densely populated cities of unarmed, innocent citizens would not be facing hunger.<\/p>\n
In a Facebook post, Al-Ayisr called on the international community to shoulder its moral and humanitarian responsibilities, to demand the lifting of the siege on El Fasher, to criminalize those responsible for this inhumane act, and to explicitly support the plan to reopen blocked roads leading to Dilling and Kadugli. He also urged firm rejection of all criminal acts committed in villages, towns, and rural areas of Kordofan and Darfur\u2014atrocities whose price is being paid by innocent civilians amid a troubling international silence that only worsens their suffering.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
