The Popular Organization for Reconstruction and Development has begun distributing horticultural seeds in Al-Dinder locality, as part of its efforts to boost agricultural production and improve farmers\u2019 livelihoods.<\/p>\n
The initiative was launched during a meeting between locality executive director Al-Daw Ahmed Yaqoub and the organisation\u2019s delegation, led by Dr. Omar Habib Allah, in the presence of the locality\u2019s Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Shams Al-Din Ahmed, Administrative Officer Al-Rashid Al-Taher, head of the Humanitarian Assistance Committee, and locality agricultural director Ali Hajo.<\/p>\n
The executive director affirmed the locality\u2019s commitment to providing all necessary facilitation to enhance the work of humanitarian organisations and donors to ensure aid reaches targeted communities. He expressed hope the project would achieve its goals of raising productivity and improving living standards, urging an expansion of services\u2014especially solar energy projects to support production and the local economy.<\/p>\n
The organisation\u2019s head said the initiative targets 14 agricultural associations, each receiving seeds for various horticultural crops as part of an integrated agricultural extension programme. He confirmed services will continue in subsequent phases.<\/p>\n
