Member of Sudan\u2019s Sovereign Council, Dr. Salma Abdeljabbar Al-Mubarak, praised the strong and evolving relations between Sudan and Qatar, as well as Doha\u2019s consistent support for Sudan\u2019s unity, sovereignty, and rejection of interference in its internal affairs.<\/p>\n
During her meeting with Qatar\u2019s Ambassador to Sudan, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sada, on Sunday, she commended Qatar\u2019s efforts to strengthen cooperation with the Sudanese government and humanitarian organizations, enabling them to carry out relief programs and activities. She also highlighted Doha\u2019s ongoing contributions to humanitarian aid and funding for Sudan\u2019s humanitarian response plan.<\/p>\n
Dr. Al-Mubarak expressed Sudan\u2019s gratitude to the Qatari government and people, noting that Qatar was among the first countries to deliver emergency assistance through continuous air bridges and to support development and health projects in Sudan.<\/p>\n
