The ministry expressed deep concern over the statement, noting it ignored the RSF\u2019s obstruction of aid convoys and the siege on civilians in several areas of Kordofan and Darfur. It also omitted reference to RSF attacks on infrastructure and essential services, which have endangered civilians by exposing them to hunger, thirst, and disease, while the Sudanese government strives to restore essential services and secure areas for voluntary civilian returns.<\/p>\n
Sudan rejected any comparison between its constitutionally mandated government and the terrorist militia, emphasizing its sovereign right to safeguard national interests and act in accordance with the highest national interest supported by its people.<\/p>\n
