Lieutenant General Shamsuddin Kabashi, member of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, held a meeting on Saturday to support the administration of Khartoum State. The session was attended by Mohamed Kartikila Saleh, Minister of Federal Governance and Rural Development, and Ahmed Othman Hamza, Acting Governor of Khartoum.<\/p>\n
Kabashi was briefed on the overall security, humanitarian, and service-related conditions, as well as ongoing efforts to provide essential services and meet citizens\u2019 needs in Khartoum.<\/p>\n
In a press statement, the acting governor reported presenting a detailed account of the state government\u2019s efforts to repair water stations, restore electricity services, and maintain and rehabilitate public and health facilities, alongside addressing the negative impacts of the war.<\/p>\n
The meeting also reviewed initiatives to restore security, manage foreign presence, and remove informal settlements. The governor emphasized that the session highlighted the importance of supporting vulnerable groups affected by the war, noting that Kabashi instructed the state government to prioritize aid to those in need to mitigate the adverse effects of the conflict.<\/p>\n
