Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Nour Abdel Daim, has confirmed an agreement with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to cooperate on technical support, particularly in the area of public financial management systems aimed at improving transparency, meeting international standards, and advancing good governance.
\nOn Wednesday, Abdel Daim met UNDP Resident Representative in Sudan, Luca Renda, at the ministries complex in Port Sudan.
\nThe minister outlined the ministry\u2019s strategies for reforming financial systems and advancing digital transformation across the financial and economic sectors.
\nFor his part, Renda said the UNDP will continue to provide technical expertise through sectoral specialists in support of the ministry\u2019s economic reforms.
