Gandour stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in digital transformation, highlighting Sudan\u2019s ability to benefit from Chinese expertise in building telecom infrastructure and developing human capacity.<\/p>\n
The meeting also discussed Sudan\u2019s digital transformation strategy, regional projects leveraging its geographic position, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at making Sudan a regional partner in digital development.<\/p>\n
The minister also met separately with the African Telecommunications Union\u2019s secretary-general, China\u2019s telecom science academy director, Ethiopia\u2019s minister of innovation and technology, and the UNDP\u2019s Africa office head.<\/p>\n
