He stressed the Red Sea\u2019s resources could make Sudan and Saudi Arabia among the richest nations in the world, highlighting its strategic security and trade importance.<\/p>\n<p>He told Saudi officials that Sudan seeks \u201ca true strategic partnership\u2014not handouts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On another front, Idris underlined Sudan\u2019s attention to Nile water issues and Ethiopia\u2019s Grand Renaissance Dam.
