The Indonesian Embassy in Sudan has announced plans to rehabilitate its buildings and resume operations from the capital, Khartoum.<\/p>\n
Khartoum Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza, during his meeting with Indonesia\u2019s Ambassador to Sudan, Sayed Monaco, affirmed the government\u2019s commitment to providing all necessary support to restore and rehabilitate the embassy and the ambassador\u2019s residence in Khartoum.<\/p>\n
The governor praised the strong relations and positive positions of the Indonesian government and people, stressing that \u201cwhat happened in Sudan was a local, regional, and international conspiracy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hamza urged diplomatic missions in Sudan to document and convey the scale of destruction and devastation in Khartoum State\u2014the most affected region by the war\u2014emphasizing the need for new partnerships to rebuild the state, as well as for political support in regional and international forums to condemn the crimes committed in Sudan.<\/p>\n
He added that the state currently needs both technical and logistical assistance, pointing to the backing it has received from the Sovereignty Council and the Cabinet to restore basic services and create a safe environment for the return of displaced residents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
