The meeting was attended by Sudan\u2019s Minister of Energy and Oil, Al-Mutasim Ibrahim, and Police Chief General Amir Abdel Moneim.<\/p>\n<p>Discussions focused on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation in political, economic, security, energy, and oil sectors to serve the common interests of both nations and their peoples.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister affirmed the \u201cHope Government\u2019s\u201d keenness to deepen cooperation and integration with South Sudan, praising the historical ties and mutual interests between the two countries and efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the South Sudanese Foreign Minister conveyed President Salva Kiir Mayardit\u2019s greetings to the Sudanese Prime Minister and expressed Juba\u2019s appreciation for Khartoum\u2019s supportive stance toward peace efforts.
