In a post on his official account, Ambassador Y\u0131ld\u0131z confirmed that the Aslan Gypsum Factory has been fully rehabilitated and resumed production, describing the milestone as a \u201crevival of industrial life in Khartoum\u201d and a reflection of Turkey\u2019s commitment to supporting Sudan\u2019s economic recovery and reconstruction efforts.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe people of Khartoum and Sudan will regain their strength \u2014 and the Turkish people will always stand by your side,\u201d Y\u0131ld\u0131z said.<\/p>\n
The Aslan Factory is one of the flagship Turkish investments in Sudan, producing building materials and gypsum that meet a large portion of domestic demand. Its reopening is expected to stimulate economic activity and create new job opportunities for Sudanese youth.<\/p>\n
