The armed forces successfully pushed back the attackers toward Al-Ubaiba, a known RSF stronghold near Al-Rahad.<\/p>\n<p>A local official dismissed media reports claiming a direct attack on Al-Rahad city itself, confirming that clashes were confined to Umm Bashar.<\/p>\n<p>Mohamed Hasaballah Mohamed Al-Dou, the administrative mayor of West Al-Rahad, told Darfur24 that the attack targeted army positions in Umm Bashar and was repelled with support from other state forces.
