He stated that the company\u2019s 2026 operational plan responds to the evolving needs of the mining sector and reflects the company\u2019s vision to build a modern management and oversight model based on technology, governance, and smart procedures.<\/p>\n
He explained that the plan aims to develop administrative and regulatory systems through advanced digital platforms and update the sector\u2019s database to strengthen production monitoring, curb smuggling, and modernize the traditional mining sector\u2014integrating it progressively into the formal economy to promote social and economic stability in mining areas.<\/p>\n
Omar noted that the plan\u2019s preparation continues the company\u2019s approach of enhancing regulatory, technical, and financial performance and supporting comprehensive digital transformation, despite the complex circumstances facing the country. He emphasized that the company is steadily consolidating its role as the Ministry of Minerals\u2019 key arm in leading secure and sustainable mining transformation.<\/p>\n
The Director General reviewed the details of the plan in the presence of the Assistant Director General for Technical Affairs, the Director of the Planning Department, the Director of the Export Companies Oversight Department, and the Director of the Planning Administration. A detailed presentation was made on the plan\u2019s main objectives, focus areas, and performance indicators for 2026.<\/p>\n
The 2026 plan includes several key pillars, most notably digital transformation, modernization of traditional mining, site protection, anti-smuggling initiatives, environmental and safety awareness, employee and community satisfaction, and strengthened engagement with industry partners.<\/p>\n
