Hundreds of Sudanese, Arab, and French activists gathered on Saturday evening in Paris\u2019s Bastille Square to protest what they described as genocide committed by the RSF militia in Darfur and to express outrage at what they called the \u201csilence and complicity\u201d of the international community, particularly France.<\/p>\n
The protest followed similar demonstrations across Europe \u2014 including in Berlin \u2014 where hundreds joined solidarity rallies calling for the referral of atrocities in Darfur to the International Criminal Court and for an end to all external support for the warring parties.<\/p>\n
As international organizations continue to document violations in Sudan, voices from around the world are demanding stronger action from the global community and transparent investigations into the flow of weapons into conflict zones through regional and international actors.<\/p>\n
