Reports of rampages and jubilation over killings\u2026 there is targeted violence against different ethnic groups.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yett, who personally witnessed the Rwandan genocide, said: \u201cThe stories from survivors are shocking\u2014killings, extortion, rape. Some pay enormous sums to flee. There\u2019s a complete collapse of order. Sudan has become a testing ground for modern warfare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that about 260,000 people remain trapped in El-Fasher, unable to escape: \u201cThey are eating grass and animal feed.
