The Congolese may be with you at breakfast\u2026 and by lunch, they abandon you if results are not delivered.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1271\">Yet, Boulos was present, with his signature sunglasses, calm smile, and grey beard, walking directly behind the U.S. president during a victory moment in Sharm El Sheikh.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1477\">Upon Trump\u2019s arrival from the presidential plane on October 13 to receive Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, it was clear that Boulos\u2019 position within the president\u2019s inner circle remained intact.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1640\">He then joined a small group of U.S. officials to witness Trump sign a historic ceasefire agreement in Gaza, alongside the leaders of Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1642\" data-end=\"1674\">Boulos told <strong data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1671\">Africa Report<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1675\" data-end=\"1835\">\n<p data-start=\"1677\" data-end=\"1835\">\u201cProgress in one region creates momentum in another\u2026 The administration is taking decisive action to address the conflict and humanitarian crisis in Sudan.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"1840\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1877\"><strong data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"1875\">\u201cDiplomatic Forrest Gump\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1878\" data-end=\"2116\">Two days later, Boulos met in Cairo with President Sisi and Sudanese Army Chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. He married the daughter of Lebanese billionaire Zohir Fadl, one of West Africa\u2019s major businessmen.
